Slidell police are asking for people’s help in identifying a man who burglarized a car in John Slidell Park Jan. 18.

Slidell police said the suspect broke into a car in the park around 2 p.m. that day, and stole a credit card that was used at the Exxon gas station on Gause and Robert boulevards about 15 minutes after the burglary. Thirty minutes later, the suspect tried to use the car at a Capital One ATM on Northshore Boulevard, but the card was declined.

The suspect is said to be in a maroon late-model Toyota Tundra pickup truck. The model has four doors and decals on the rear bumper that read either “TRD” or “TRSS.”

Shown is an unidentified man Slidell police believe burglarized a car.

The suspect was taped on video at the ATM and is a white male, between 30 and 40 years old, with blonde or gray hair. He was wearing a baseball cap with “Cabelas’” on the crown.

If anybody has any information on the burglary or suspect, they can call Detective Ralph Morel at 290-3259.

    " *Sigh

Decals on the bumper, huh? Are you really trying to help, or just spouting senseless word, as usual? Do you have a clue where the bumper is? lol

The DECALS that would read "TRD" or "TRSS", (likely TRD ) would be located on the read QUARTER PANELS, not bumper. "
