Robert Andrew “Bobby” Gibbs, 79, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010. Bobby was a native of Bossier City and a resident of Slidell since 1963.

He was the beloved husband of Joyce M. Gibbs; father of Robert Terry Gibbs and Mitzi Gay Gibbs Norris; brother of Lola Grosjean, Buddy Gibbs, Sondra Robinson, and Gary Gibbs; grandfather of Carole, Michelle, Glen, Bethany, and Jared and great-grandfather of Joshua, Zachary, Brianna, Katelynn, Brielle, Logan, Victoria, Caleb and Caden.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life at 2 p.m. today at the Gibbs residence, 59562 Donya St., Slidell. Arrangements by Bagnell & Son Funeral Home of Covington. To view and sign the family guest book, visit www.bagnellfuneralhome.com.
