The St. Tammany/Washington Parishes Home Builders Association hosted its annual Home Show this past weekend at the Castine Center in Pelican Park. Many local companies had booths, but the event, which lasted two days, also incuded seminars on loan modification, first time home buying and incentives for energy efficient homes. Local chefs provided cooking demonstrations each afternoon, and on Saturday attendees were treated to a zumba demonstration.

The show also included a St. Tammany “Good Life” row promoting the Northshore lifestyle, and a green row, highlighting businesses that have energy efficient building practices and products.
