Nine St. Tammany residents arrested for drug trafficking
As part of a multi-agency investigation including the DEA, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Louisiana State Troopers’ High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force arrested 12 people, eight from Slidell, in an alleged prescription fraud scheme stretching across the metro area.

Soldier arrested for rape, attempted murder
A soldier from Fort Polk has been arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail for aggravated rape and attempted first degree murder after authorities believe he raped and brutally attacked an employee at a Mandeville-area gas station.
