The approaching marriage of Unica Joy Managapot and Rhett Shannon Patrick, both of Los Angeles, has been announced.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Urlando and Janet Mangapot of Manila, Island of the Philippines. She graduated from Asia Pacific College with a degree in engineering and business management.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ralph Patrick Sr. and Jean Shane Patrick, both of Mandeville. He graduated from St. Paul’s School and LSU, where he received a masters’ degree in physical therapy. He operates a clinic three days a week in Los Angeles.

The couple will exchange vows Sept. 18, 2010, at St. Peter Church in Covington with the Rev. Patrick Wattingy officiating. A reception will follow at Vintage Court.
