Terri Evans of Slidell and the beloved Daniel Evans and Slidell announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Danielle Michelle Evans, to Theodore Thomas Morrison of Slidell, son of Craig and Joan Morrison of Hastings, Minn. The ceremony will be celebrated Oct. 16, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Slidell. A reception will follow at Holiday Inn of Covington.

Evans is a graduate of Hastings High School and Southeastern Louisiana University, where she received a degree in communications. She is employed by the U.S. Congress as a field representative.

She is the granddaughter of the late Robert Evans and Ruth Evans of New York and the late Clifford Martin and Beverly Bates of Mississippi.

Morrison is a graduate of Hastings High School and Southeastern Louisiana University where he received a degree in international business. He is employed by Geocent as a consultant.

He is the grandson of Norval and the late D. Juanita Hoverstad of Minnesota and the late Harry and Helen Morrison of Minnesota.
